<description>&lt;b&gt; I fondly look back on evenings in Duffy&#039;s Fish and Chips with my Granny and Grandad, hearing his voice crooning from the kitchen. He frequented our family reunions, although we are unrelated, and was always a lovely man, as I realised even in my youth. Now, I look back fondly on these memories of this true gentleman. &lt;b&gt;</description>

		<description>Hi Doreen,
Thanks for your kind words. We had a great time playing with Bobby Dean and performing some of his original work that night. Many thanks to our supporters who came out to hear us &quot;unplugged&quot;.

<description>Ernie was pure class all the way. He reminded me so much of all the greats I have listened to since childhood....a true crooner indeed. Isn&#039;t it wonderful that his voice will always be here to lift our spirits and hearts. Thankyou Ernie.
I can just imagine the AWESOME Big Band you&#039;re crooning with now!!!!

<description>Thank you Doreen. If not for you, we would not have this wonderful connection to &#039;in the moment&#039; jazz &amp; blues, in the Bruce.

<description>Thanks for a thoughtful comment. We all have life-altering experiences to draw upon even though we sometimes forget life is a learning experience also.

<description>I join with my feelings and emotions to share the anxiety and fear of loss with those who may be going through this experience. I have been with my partner in life and business, Ellyn for 25 years. Considering that we were together 24 hours, stretches the period to 50 years. Together we pursued happiness without encroaching on the happiness of others.
Suddenly early this year she was diagnosed with Lyo-myo-Sarcoma. After a couple of complications she is now out of the hospital. We both were not prepared for this experience. We did not even plan anything about what one will do without the other. It was life altering, to say it mildly. We now focus more on making the best of the remaining time we can enjoy together. We have a living will and a home and successful business. Without much panic, we are educating each other about what one did not do or know about the other was doing. Starting from the passwords, the obligations in personal and business and many other matters that will leave the other without clue.
Life is the most precious gift we have. During young years of the journey and in good health we ignore the fact that life is also full of surprises.
We wish every one going through the life altering experiences, to hang in with courage. We send our best wishes and prayers for pain free and happy living.
