Thanks Doreen! Yes, that's a great way to put it. A child is a super audience. If you just 'read' to grandkids, they'll be out the door in '2 minutes' but if you 'READ' (from heart and soul) and play all the characters so that they all sound distinctly different, he/she'll be riveted. Also makes for a great supplemental income that is accessible from home computer. I'm teaching in Owen Sound and if nothing else, it beats 'therapy' to put all your personalities to work FOR you! lol See http://toonedin.ca for more info.
I am sorry I didn't write right away when you told me about your son-in-law (whether married or not I am sure you considered him a son). It will be a very sad a lonely time for your daughter but with a loving Mom like you and wondeful sisters I hope the grief will pass to happy memories.
I am thankful the sun shone for another day yesterday and should be out in full again on Wed. It's wonderful how uplifting it is. Being out in open spaces like the beach also is restoritive.
Pleas pass on my love and caring to your daughter.
Love, Ruth

We can only imagine the suffering of those who protected their world so that ours would be safer. If only their sacrifice had been more enduring.
We went to the Cenotaph this a.m. and joined a large crowd there for the Remembrance Day services.

Oh, Doreen, how I can identify with all your little "trials" and "errors". Glad you got it rectified. The service at Knox was quite different from our usual one, very lovely, and the music was wonderful. They do a descant to "Winds of Change" and those 2 or 3 voices added a whole new dimension to the anthem.

Got a free TV yesterday from a call on Dial a Deal. Now that Richard has the special cord that was provided for anteana hook up maybe it will work. Thank god they are all little things and you are now warm and cozy.
Hope you and Lynda will be able to come for lunch on Halloween.
Love, Ruth
